This is a picture of Molly at 9 weeks! She was born on January 6, 2007. On March 10, 2007, my husband, Roger, and I traveled with our two 6-year old Shih Tzu's, Sam and Libby, to Summerfield, Florida, to meet Molly for the first time. From our home it was approximately a three hour trip. When we arrived at Bad to the Bones Kennel, we saw the puppies in the front yard playing with each other and their Mom, Racey Red.
This is Molly's Mom, Racey Red. After visiting with the breeders, Paige Holley and Ashley Parsell, and watching the puppies play with each other and our two Shih Tzu's, Sam and Libby, it was time to choose who would be named Good Golly Miss Molly. I stooped down, made a kissing sound, stretched out my hand, and watched as one of the puppies ran up to investigate what I was offering in my outstretched hand. The puppy turned out to be a female who was more interested in sniffing me than playing with her siblings and Mom. Thus was the beginning of a meaningful and loving relationship with Good Golly Miss Molly that grows stronger and stronger every day!

Good Golly Miss Molly, indeed, epitomizes the courage and dignity of the Dachshund and continues to entertain us with her clownish, inquiring, and impish temperament. This Website is a tribute to Miss Molly who started my love and passion of the Dachshund breed.
